Freshly Barked has grown into Performance Dog Products. Since our inception in July of 2007, we have grown beyond our original idea and humble beginnings. Our Freshly Barked natural dog treats are still baked fresh and are Always wheat, corn and soy free using human grade, natural ingredients for a healthy treat for your dog. We have added to these several brands of nationally known treats and chews, including Zuke's, Plato, Durango and Merrick that are also wheat, corn and soy free and just as important to us and you - Made in the USA. We have the wildly popular Deer Antler chews for dogs. Dogs go wild over these and they won't splinter like some bones and they are shed naturally. We have also added a wonderful selection of toys, including Katie's Bumpers (USA made) and leashes and collars from Mendota (USA made) and a great way to keep your dogs from overheating from Kool Collars. We also have some wonderful gift ideas for a variety of breeds and performance events such as Agility and Flyball. Whenever possible we try to choose items that have been manufactured in the USA. We will proudly display an American Flag next to these items. Please look at each of our pages and shop for some wonderful items for your active dog. For customers interested in performance sports we have a wide selection of toys and leashes for dogs competing in agility and flyball. In addition to our tug toys and leashes made of fleece we carry Katie's Bumpers, the original fire hose tug toys. These toys can handle a lot of fun and play with your performance dog. We also carry the ever popular Chuck-It Flying Squirrel. Whether your dogs participate in agility, flyball, obedience, herding or any number of other fun events, you will find something you or your dog will love. If your best friend doesn't participate in any type of performance event, know that our products are tested by those that do and will hold up to hours of fun for your backyard athlete. Don't forget to check out our new selection of quality machine washable fleece crate mats that can be used in crates or alone as a soft bed or to keep your furniture or car seats clean. Jesse (a Golden Retriever mix, about 14 years young) was a stray and we adopted her from Pinellas County Animal Services in 1999. She loves people and is a celebrity at our vet's office. Her tail was wagging from day one. Hobbies: Getting tummy rubs. She truly our "Golden Girl" & is a Canine Good Citizen. |

In Memoriam: Cheyenne CGC (an Australian Shepherd mix) Sadly our sweet beloved Cheyenne crossed the rainbow bridge on February 24th due to a brain tumor. It affected her balance & motor skills. She eventually had difficulty standing and she lost her appetite. The support from our Facebook friends and other friends is appreciated during this difficult time It seems like just yesterday she was rescued from shelters in GA and wound up at the Humane Society of Pinellas. She was so shy (thus her name) that she required a foster family to become adoptable. We fell in love with her and we adopted her in May of 2000. She had a good life with us and she gave us so much joy. Our hearts are broken. Our thanks to Dr. Todd and Animal Hospital of Dunedin for the extraordinary care given over her long life. |
